Local flooding is possible across parts of the West Midlands and possible but not expected from rivers and surface water across parts of the South West and North of England on Saturday and Sunday due to heavy and persistent rainfall combining with the potential for snowmelt. Local coastal/tidal flooding is also possible but not expected for parts of the East and South East coast of England today (Wednesday). Properties may flood and there may be travel disruption.

Wales

Widespread flooding is possible from rivers and surface water across parts of Wales on Saturday and Sunday due to heavy and persistent rainfall combining with the potential for snowmelt. Properties may flood and there may be travel disruption.

The river flood risk is LOW on Saturday and Sunday.

Significant river flooding is possible in parts of England and Wales on Saturday and Sunday due to heavy rain possibly combined with rapid snowmelt. Minor river flooding is possible more widely across England and Wales. See Specific Areas of Concern Map.

Coastal

The coastal/tidal flood risk is VERY LOW for the next five days.

Minor coastal flooding impacts are possible but not expected around the East and South East of England at times today (Wednesday).

Surface

The surface water flood risk is LOW on Saturday and Sunday.

Significant surface water flooding is possible in parts of England and Wales on Saturday and Sunday due to heavy rain possibly combined with rapid snowmelt. Minor surface water flooding is possible more widely across England and Wales. See Specific Areas of Concern Map.
