Groundwater levels have risen and remain high due to previous rainfall. They are expected to start dropping within the next 5 days. There is no rainfall predicted for the next 2 days with small totals possible from Thursday 6th March into the weekend. Flooding of fields and roads is possible. Areas most at risk include: the Iwerne and the Pimperne Brook areas. Residents are advised to prepare property resilience measures and ensure that pumps are working where they have been installed.
