River levels in the Lower Avon remain high due to high groundwater levels. A Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area, so flooding of roads and low lying land is still possible. Areas most at risk include tributaries between Ringwood and Christchurch. The next band of rain showers are forecast from tomorrow afternoon, Monday 10/03/2025. We will continue to monitor river levels. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 4:00 PM on 11/03/2025, or as the situation changes.
