River levels in the River Bourne remain high due to the high groundwater levels. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Areas most at risk include tributaries between Aughton and Laverstock. A Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area, so flooding of roads and low lying land is still possible. The next band of rain showers are forecast from tomorrow afternoon, Monday 10/03/2025. We will continue to monitor river levels and any rainfall. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 4:00 PM on 11/03/2025, or as the situation changes.
