River levels continue to be high at Briantspuddle river gauge as a result of the ground being saturated. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. We expect flooding to affect the Piddle and tributaries between Alton Pancras and Wareham. A Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area, so flooding of roads and low lying land is still possible. The next band of rain showers are forecast from tomorrow afternoon, Monday 10/03/2025. We will continue to monitor river levels. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 4:00 PM on 11/03/2025, or as the situation changes.
